🎮 Overview
2048 is an addictive and elegant slide-and-merge puzzle game where you combine tiles with matching numbers by sliding them across a 4×4 grid. When two identical tiles touch, they merge into one tile with their sum. The ultimate goal: reach the 2048 tile. With minimalist design and smooth animations, it challenges your planning skills, spatial reasoning, and patience.
🕹 How to play 2048?
1. Start the Game
Tap or click Play to begin. A pair of tiles (usually “2” or “4”) appears randomly on the grid.
2. Controls
Desktop: Use arrow keys or swipe gestures to slide all tiles in that direction.
Mobile: Swipe across the board to move tiles.
3. Mechanics & Objectives
Slides move all tiles as far as possible. Identical tiles that collide merge into a new tile whose value is the sum (e.g., 4 + 4 → 8).
Each move adds a new tile (usually “2” or “4”) in an empty spot.
Continue merging and sliding to reach the 2048 tile and beyond, while maximizing your high score.
